Future Nexus is the platform of educational and personal opportunities for Pijao’s young people: personalised tutoring (including preparation for Colombia’s ICFES exams), access to academic resources and experiential learning beyond the classroom.
It is the extracurricular component of the Pijao Node: the same effort to connect dreams with opportunities, extended to whole-person education.
Its best-loved milestone is the environmental education trips to the Chilí páramo: for many young people it is their first encounter with the ecosystem that gives the Foundation its name and gives their territory its water. There, among the frailejones, conservation stops being a lesson and becomes their own experience.
Workshops on environmental conservation and field trips connect with the other programmes: the garden teaches how to sow, the laboratory how to observe, and Future Nexus how to look far ahead.
